iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia are set to debut this fall, introducing a host of Apple Intelligence features, some of which will be labeled as beta. These updates will bring new capabilities to iPhone, Mac, and iPad users, with additional features being added over the course of the year following their release.
Several Apple Intelligence features are delayed, including Siri's roster of new app actions, Siri's on-screen awareness, and Apple Mail categorization and message summaries. These features are expected to be rolled out at a later date, possibly in 2025. Additionally, Apple Intelligence will initially only be available in U.S. English, with other languages to be added later.
Apple is limiting initial AI features to U.S. English to be cautious in launching its AI features to a small subset of users at first. This approach allows them to gather feedback, fine-tune the features, and address any potential issues before rolling it out to a larger audience with different language preferences.
