BYD, China's largest electric vehicle maker, has signed a $1 billion deal to build a manufacturing plant in Turkey. This facility is expected to produce up to 150,000 vehicles per year and create around 5,000 jobs. The deal was signed in an event attended by Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and BYD's CEO Wang Chuanfu.
